Jnana Vikasa Education Trust (JVET) was started in 1996 for the educational development of rural children and the welfare of persons with disabilities.
The Trust also supports girls and women affected by sexual harassment, dowry harassment and violence through counselling, protection and psychological and moral support.
JVET works to prevent trafficking of women and children, supports protection and rehabilitation, creates public awareness, and conducts environmental programmes including tree planting and go-green campaigns.
